After years of blogging as “Li’l Crohnsie" it was time to evolve into something a little more fun. Chronic Comix shares scatological advice for folks with and without Inflammatory Bowel Disease (everybody poops, after all) with a peppering of clumsily illustrated personal anecdotes.
About the Author
Jane Doo, seen here weeping a diamond tear while suckling a lobster tail in bed, is approaching her 20th year living with IBD. Initially diagnosed with Crohn’s at the age of 12 she was re-diagnosed with colitis at age 26.
She often struggles with recognizing when a health problem is a new health problem vs. another side affect of whatever medication she’s currently on, and regularly wrestles with the guilt of being an avid complainer who actually has it pretty good even when disaster strikes.
